Why is it still showing the normal game if I have horizon :S
Ow well... thnx

If you put "/EDH" as parameter in the launch options information technology doesn't affair what you cull. It will always get-go horizons. ;)

There are some occaision when you want to start up the base game. But those are rare.

Well, launching without Horizons removes planetary landings...

I'thousand gonna take a swing in the dark and say if yous don't plan on landing on a planet then maybe the normal mode uses less resources on your computer?

Just a guess.

Also, people who are playing in normal can still run across and interact with people playing Horizons.

I don't recollect figurer resources are spared.
Simply y'all have given the all-time info.
Was really wondering if people would be divided.

Don't thnik so, too. The ED base game 64bit installation and Horizons are one and the same. Information technology loads the same ressources. You are just cutting off from some content when not launching Horizons.

No, the playerbase is not split. You however paly in the same Galaxy and can run into each other.

I literally tin't remember of a single reason... Even if yous're playing with people who don't own horizons, you can notwithstanding run it... I do this regularly, and a few of my wingmates don't own information technology.

LOL! :steammocking:

Speaking for myself alone, I can honestly say that volition never happen... I desire to printing play, and take the game launch...

As it is it'southward press play on steam, select horizons, press ok, launcher comes up, press play, game launches... OR printing play, press ok without selecting horizons, launcher comes up, select horizons, press play...

How about press play, launcher opens, press play (without having to manually add launch parameters). Make Horizons the default launch option for people that ain it?

I've found the selection to showtime without the dlc useful in the rare cases where your ship gets stuck in a planetary surface since it teleports you dorsum into orbit. It's besides used past the fuel rats in order to assist commanders who've run out of fuel when in the surface. Or if you terminate up in the bottom of a crater you can't scale the walls of, or if you accidentally clip through a base wall.

If I become stuck to a planet I just log out to master card and dorsum in, then take off as usual. Probably done it at to the lowest degree a dozen times (my Asp was always getting stuck with one of the landing gear clipping into the ground).

You're going to tell me that people blow upward their ships doing this now aren't you? :p

I've had a few close calls, but never actually been so stuck that I couldn't wing the SRV out with full power to pips, and a lot of swearing. Usually instantly followed by more swearing as I fall fifty-fifty further down the mountain side xD

I can potentially see information technology being a problem on higher gravity worlds though.

...or if you accidentally prune through a base wall.

Haven't experienced that one myself (yet).

If I get stuck to a planet I only log out to master menu and dorsum in, so have off equally usual. Probably done it at least a dozen times (my Asp was e'er getting stuck with one of the landing gear clipping into the ground).

There indeed was a bug when the whole ship started underground. Launching would result in instant death. So logging in the base game was a way to gear up this...

That issues should be fixed by at present. merely you never know.

Oof... I've been lucky then, had Horizons since solar day 1 :)

My ship got stuck in the terrain in one case and when I relaunched my thrusters showed offline and wouldn't reactivate for some reason. No dlc solved that.
